You can get the points booking process started up to 11 months ahead of your desired trip dates (this is when most airlines release their flight schedules). Conversely, you can use our booking service for close-in dates up to one week in advance of your travel.

This largely depends on your current points and miles banks as well as your preferred dates of travel (peak vs. off peak), destination and class of service. As a general guideline, for a one-way transcontinental flight you will need at least 30,000 points for economy class, 60,000 points for business class and 100,000 points for first class.

In addition to the booking service cost, you will also need to budget for taxes and fees associated with the award booking. This can range from as low as $20 to over $1,000 depending on the airline and destination. We will always strive to keep the taxes and fees passed on by the airline as low as possible during our search.

Even if we are unable to find a successful award flight that meets your parameters, the search process is still labor and time intensive. The fee ensures that our experts can dedicate the necessary time and resources to thoroughly search for the best options for you. It helps cover the costs associated with our specialized tools and expertise, allowing us to provide a high level of service and support throughout the booking process.

No. If we don’t find a flight that meets the agreed upon parameters at the start of the service, you will only be charged the $50 non-refundable good faith fee — nothing more. However, if we do find an award that meets those parameters and you still decide not to move forward with the booking, you will be charged the full price of the service. That said, we will always work with you to try to find a solution that works best for you.

While we always aim to find an award that works for you as quickly as possible, occasionally it requires some patience for the right dates or class of service to open up. Your concierge will search for awards up to one month after initiation of the service. Once you’ve moved forward with an award booking, no additional searches will be conducted.

Yes! We can work with you to maximize your points in the way that works best for you, whether that means taking your miles further with economy flights, or splurging for lie flat seats in business class.
